Exasperating eye twitching

An eye twitch can be most irritating and annoying for a person enduring it. It is commonly noticed among people but does not have any serious implications. The eye twitch may happen either on the left or right eye. This happens due to muscle spasm around the eye region and occurs on and off for some people. The medical term for this eye twitch or eye muscle spasm is known as blepharospasm. Most of the time such eye muscle spasms go off on their own though application of a cold ice pack may help to stop it. Fatigue and stress sometimes aggravate the condition of an eye twitch.
